Vivianna Chiotini’s practice 
incorporates art, design, performance and architecture in the creation of environments, experiences and artefacts that aim to reimagine and dramatise space, always in relation with the live body.


Born in Athens in 1988, Vivianna obtained a BA in Architecture from École Nationale Supérieure d'Architecture de Paris-La Villette (ENSAPLV, Paris) and an MA in Scenography from the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama (RCSSD, London).

She has collaborated with artists and companies internationally, at locations including Ancient Epidaurus, The Roundhouse, Watermans Arts Centre and Al Meshal Theatre in Gaza, the International School of Uganda, Asylum Chapel, Ugly Duck warehouse, Camden People’s Theatre, LSE new academic building, UCL courtyard, as well as an abandoned athenian shop.

Vivianna was selected by Society of British Theatre Designers and Performance Education Collective as part of the team who represented UK with the emerging designers’ exhibit at Prague Quadrennial of Performance Design and Space 2019. 

Her work is currently digitally displayed in Staging Places: UK Design for Performance exhibition at the V&A (July 2019-March 2020).
